A Nickel-Mounted German Violin Bow by the Prager Family, likely August Edwin or Gustav Adolf

A very nice nickel-mounted early twentieth century German violin bow by the Prager family, likely Gustav Adolf or August Edwin. The head is beautifully rendered and quite typical of the renowned family of makers, and it is stamped (faintly) '...Prager' on the handle, complete with the arrow insignia associated with the workshop.

Robust yet flexible, it has been recently rehaired and would make an excellent addition to any player's retinue of bows.
