An extremely fine example of 20th century German craftsmanship in the form of this violin by Ernst Heinrich Roth III of Markneukirchen, dated 1985. The Roth family has been synonymous with violin making in the town of Markneukirchen, Saxony for close to one hundred and fifty years, and retains a stellar reputation for the quality of workmanship evident in their output over the years.
