A gorgeous new addition to the available stock list; an Irish violin by renowned maker Conor Russell, after Guarneri del Gesù. This violin, made in Wicklow in 2011, has until recently been in regular use by a professional player who used it as his primary instrument for many years. Its tone is rich and sonorous, the dark, velvet-like quality of the lower register beautifully complemented by the clarity of the A and E strings. Very much a player's instrument and very competitively priced for work by this maker.
