John’s passion for music began early, with piano lessons at six before focusing on the violin. After studies in Dublin and London, he developed his expertise at J. P. Guivier & Co., London’s oldest violin dealership, and later as Senior Specialist at Brompton’s Fine & Rare Instruments, gaining extensive experience handling and valuing instruments by masters such as Stradivari and Guarneri.

With over twelve years advising musicians, collectors, and enthusiasts internationally, John is now based in Dublin and dedicated to helping players find the ideal instrument to support their musical journey.
